Cassielle just received her group picture from when she visited DC. It’s a wide panoramic view of at least 60 people standing in front of the White House. Everyone is posed so nicely and they’re all standing in descending order of height starting from the center. What a beautiful shot. Then, Gayle spotted one student in the photo three times and a teacher and three other students in the photo twice. The entire thing was a chop job and, at closer look, not a very good one. It might bring a C+ grade in Photoshop 101. Were they even standing in front of the White House? I didn’t think to ask.

3 Mulligans 
The reason that some people were in the photo twice is because the picture people decided that the rows weren’t even enough, so they used a rotating camera to get one end, and while they were capturing all the people in the middle, the people who had been on the end ducked and ran over to the side so they could be in the picture again. I know this because they used this same stupid “trick” with my class when I went to D.C., and the finished product just looked awful. I’d certainly rather be in a group picture with uneven rows than find myself in a scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

But then I look at the people who have long light hair and how it’s blowing in their faces.
Considering my luck to have no hair issues, I guess I can overlook the utter terribleness of..well..its terribleness.

BTW, on the reviews for “Brand Upon the Brain,” I pretty much agree. Except I liked it less. But I liked the idea more than the actual product.
Oh well.
